I guess I have never run into this before thought it worked differently.  Currently in resign free agent period, and I offered two of my guys exactly what they were asking for and they rejected it.  I thought if you met your own free agents demands they would automatically sign?

That is usually true before the season ends but if it is right after rollover they will often test the waters.
