HD, and more notably WIS, are most known for being able to simulate athletic events that are hypothetical.
Something that has always kind of annoyed me is how my teams "disappear" so much after the season is over. You can't go back and look at a guys ratings or compare teams (unless of course you save a screen shot yourself). I don't see why we can't save previous teams somewhere-- maybe WIS could even charge a very small fee to save them and saving them must be voluntary or "requested."
Additionally, I don't see why two random team's can't be simmed against each other. So, two coaches set up their gameplan, input it into the simulator with their team (Say I Wanted to save my SW Baptist team from last year, I could put in code SWB4708 or something like that) vs any other team (I could sim it against SIU4008 or something to see how it would do against some of Billy G's great championship teams) and we could run it 100 times or something and it would show the results... SWB wins 53 times, Logan Driskill averages 17.8 points per game and is the "Series MVP."
Again, these are just ideas, but they seem to be pretty plausible and if it's not something that WIS/HD is capable of now, it seems like it's something they should be working towards in the near future. It would increase the amount of time each user spends on the site, generate discussion, and give people something to work towards. We could run all-time tournaments for the best D1, D2, and D3 teams of all time.
We could settle the strongest worlds, figure out if a D3 team could be a D1 team in a series (assumedly a Sim D1 team), and end debates about the best team(s) of all time.
