Going through recruits there is one PG who is has decent ratings for a PG as far as speed, passing and defense go. He also has a pretty high LP rating. I know if all other ratings are good for it, i could just throw him to SF. Just wondering if anyone has used a PG with decent LP to penetrate and score down low.? I would really like to hope i can get a fast good defending PG who can now score without having a high PE rating.

Yes. I had a PG last season (DIII) who was my first recruit ever in HD (i.e.-I had no clue what I was doing when I grabbed him) who was carrying a 35 LP with average/slightly above avg. Ath and Spd for the position and division. He hadn't scored more than 60 points in a single season for me and I would have dropped him had it not been for the new engine switchover and talk that guards could now go low and play in the paint. He averaged about 11 ppg in 17-18 min. per contest and wound up taking a lot of FT's (I had him set to -2 for 3-pt. frequency)...easily the surprise of my season.

He didn't have much of a rebounding value, so I didn't drop him into an SF spot, but if you're solid on rebounding, I think its a perfectly viable option.
