I'm personally offended by big words like "pertinent" which sound vaguely sexual and which I don't entirely understand.

coach4fu,

I am wondering about your reasoning for wanting to start Decker over Graham.  Graham seems like the better player, almost across the board.  He is faster, a better passer, a better defender, and a better shooter.

If Graham were a redshirted freshmen, I'd agree.Or, even later in the season when his IQs are better.  But coaches have found that a true freshmen PG is a disaster in this game.

How do you judge he's a better shooter?  Is that what 'perimeter' is for, I assume?

Perimeter isn't the only consideration. A player with good ATH/SP/IQ will enhance his PER rating

Is there anything one can do to boost IQ?

Playing time is the #1 thing. I'm not sure if starting helps, but I assume it does.. Recruiting good WE improves IQ more quickly as well
