So plague, I shouldn't llist a closer, at all. Just a bunch of Setup B's? moe
I think it depends on the rest of your bullpen. Is he by far the best reliever in your bullpen? You can get a lot of innings out of him and still have him listed as your closer. Just list him as coming in the 6th inning and list him as closer, he won't finish but he will play in winning situations.....I don't think its bad to have him come in only losing situations. I think 5 people can give you different opinions and all 5 people can be possibly right, there is no right answer.
Here is a pitcher
Ted Thompson I have had for a long time who is probably ballpark in comparing to your pitcher. I list him as closer with 8th inning available and 30 PC with 35 Max PC. He gets about 70 innings a season, I could probably stretch it to 100 innings in another role, but I feel he has been by far my best reliever and that the difference in blown saves other relievers would of given me would not of been worth the extra 30-50 innings I could of gotten out of him in other situations. Right or Wrong I do not know, but it was the decision I made.
