Im not saying to get money for all ee's just when they combined with graduates exceed 6.  So if you graduate 6 and have one ee you get $ for 7.  Nothing huge and the 1-3 years good players are almost always battled for and rarely close to home.  If someone has 3 graduate and 2 EE's they get no extra $ its only when the 2 combined are greater then the current 6 cap.  I respect your thoughts girt since you know what you are a proven winner.
if  i am reading this right it makes very little sense to me.

if i have 6 seniors, plus 1 ee, i would get money for 7 scholarhips which would be $105k
but if i only have 3 seniors and 2 ee, i would only get the money for the seniors which is $45k

that really does not seem fair to the second team.  $45 k to replace 5 players, while the first team gets $105 ro replace 7.  that is an extra $60 for 2 extra recruits.

are you saying the second team would get $90, am i misinterpreting the "they get no extra $" part

In the case with the 3 leaving and 2 ee's you cueerntly get $ for 5 so that would stay the same.

There may be a better way to do this I am no rocket scientist.

I do not like this idea and I average between 1-2 early entries every year. I dont need UNC having 8 scholarships and 250,000 dollars going around the country and signing the top 5 players in the nation.

My idea is that they just cut EEs in half and tone up the logic. Just make it so that only 10-15 guys leave a year and no team can have more then 1.

I'm only in my third season of D11 after spending 7 seasons at D111, but I do understand what your proposing brianp87, and what you guys are talking about. I agree with arssanguinus & a_in_the_b in that it would give the big boys a bigger advantage than they have now. Why give the good/great teams even more money than they have now. It would create a cyclonic disaster for the little guys.

What I would suggest would be the opposite of what you proposed. Instead of giving them, or you, the money for 8 and still having the 6 max schollies/freshman per class, only get the money for 6, but be allowed to sign 8 freshman to make up what you lost with the EE.

Just a thought. Not saying that would work either or any better than it does now, but to me it makes more sense than what you suggested.

In those occasions, the team with the EE's is already going to be recruiting with $100K+ and high prestige. I think that's more than enough advantage, I wouldn't want to see teams getting an extra $15-30K.

Again, I think you are simply overreacting to your own personal situation at NAU rather than truly looking at the big picture.

I agree with tmac in that they need to do more to discourage the likelihood of multiple EE's from the same team.

What he said.  Especially about multiple EE's from one team.

I had a great conversation with cs about EE's.  I told them that I felt they a ee should nto count against you max schollie $.  Example right now you max at 6.  SO if you graduate 4 and have 4 ee's your screwed.  So i tossed the idea that you should in this case have $ for 8 but still be maxed at signing 6 fr.  They were game and ssid he would look into it.  I want thoughts and if you all like maybe give feedback or let cs no.  I have had this happen and it sucks.
Love the idea and fully support it.
