Two things:

1) Can we please correct the problem of position players going down with the position they played at time of retirement? Seems easy enough to have them assigned the position they played the most games of their career at. Or better still, the position he's played the most games at in his prime (first 12 seasons in the league perhaps). By the time a player retires he has lost major points in every single defensive category and is obviously only equipped to play a much easier position.

2) Fix the voting system so that a league's HoF is not hurt by lack of participation. Include a checkbox that says "vote for no one" so that you can differentiate between owners who intentionally didn't cast a vote and those that simply don't care, forgot, etc. Then have an inductee judged based on the percentage of participating voters rather than all 32 teams.

+1 on both points.

yep, like both

both sound good.  I also think that players in the HoF should have the jerseys and hats of the city they played the most games with, not what the franchise is currently.  For example, John Smith played most of his games with New York. Later, the owner left and the team moved to Tampa Bay. John Smith should wear the New York hat and jersey instead of the Tampa Bay hat/jersey.

I agree with kad's suggestions.  Trento's could be problematic

Agree on both (we actually brought up having it be a % instead of number of votes in Ruth this season)

I think Admin already said there's no way to do this.  Each franchise is unique, but the cities it played in are not something that is documented or retained other than in the three letter short form on the player card for stats, contract, etc.

1) Yes.
2) No.  If a world doesn't choose to participate in the HOF voting, it doesn't need a HOF.   We just had a season where no one got in the MG HOF.  Owner participation is pretty high in that world so I'm hoping no one was worthy.   Of course, the bastards had Jamey Cambridge listed as RF with 400 career homers and a .300+ average.   Probably not good enough.  But he played 2B for about 80% of his career.  Whole 'nother ballgame.

Yea, he played Steve Sax 2B for most of his career.

Weren't you denied admittance into MG?   Yeah, that's right, you weren't allowed in.  STFU.

I believe I resisted advances to draw me in.
