Backup to No Chance? Topic

I called a recruit, he said I was a backup. So I flood him with scouting trips and I usually throw in a home visit when trying to pull kids down to see if they'll accept it. If they don't accept it then everytime I've seen it gets rejected, I get my money back, no harm done. With this kid I get a message saying I walked in on him during dinner and now he's saying I have no chance. Threw more scouting trips at him, yet still no chance.

Really? Am I that dumb for throwing a HV at him?

Wow, the kid got ticked just because his veggies got cold! I've never seen anyone go from backup to no chance unless a higher level school is hitting on him too. Maybe that is what happened but the higher level school didn't do enough to get listed yet. FWIW, I always send a scholie offer when I am attempting a pulldown.

Don't necessarily agree with the "scholie offer" but I would be surprised if a higher level school doesn't show up on his considering list.
