Replacing Pitchers Topic

Can the AI be tweaked to;
1. Recognize when a guy has a no-hitter going and not replace him no matter pitch count?
2. Many times the pitcher will bat, even in tie games with men on base, and then be replaced to start the following inning. Could this be altered to pinch hit for the pitcher if he is going to be pulled the following inning?

1)  Be careful what you wish for.  If a guy is on a PC of 100/120 and reaches his PC in the 6th inning because he has walked 7 guys, do you really want simmy to keep him in?  What if he gets up to 150 pitches?

2)  That's a good suggestion, though I would question why the pitcher is being pulled.  Did he bat because it was a close game at the time, but his team put up a big crooked number and turned the game into a blowout, thus causing Simmy to bring in a mop-up guy?

I should have clarified the no-hitter thing, it would only apply in the 9th inning. I've seen it couple times just recently. Actually both things happened yesterday in Vin Scully. Guy had a no-hitter going with a 12-0 lead, made the last out in the 8th, and then was replaced to start the 9th.
It may be hard for AI to handle logical replacement without just automatically pinch hitting for pitchers if x=score & y=inning or something. Not sure what drives pinch hitting anyway or if that would be much better. Maybe I'll keep an eye out and note how many times it happens. Seems often to me but maybe I'm wrong.
