If I really want the guy and know others would to, I often throw on a few visits with it. This just does enough effort to make sure anyone else trying to pull him down will be shot down. Other wise, you'll notice the same cycle you got another school on him. Generally when a coach sees me on him, they stop trying or at least stop after they see 25+ evals isn't cutting it, and the email comes out that he is 'tight' with me.

For example. He declined them, and then I just forgot to re-offer them. That is usually what I tend to do. I get less/no carry over, but I also have no worries about everyone else trying pull downs. I'm in an area with tons of coaches within 200 miles, and it was becoming a joke at how every season me and some coaches would always show up at the same time because everyone and there mothers used pull downs. Doing it this way I have not had a coach end up on my guy in about 5 seasons now. Considering it was happening multiple times per season, I'd say its worth it doing.
