Should I be playing Altamirano at SF, starting Kaye at PG and having Rutherford come off the bench, instead of starting Altamirano at point and Rutherford at SF? With no penalty for switching positions I'm considering this since I obviously am not a fan of of Altamirano's passing and ballhandling at point. I could still have Altamirano at backup PG, or my SG, who has pretty good pass and BH.  I run triangle and FCP.

You could consider having Altamirano off the bench.  Kaye is definitely a better PG, but I'm not certain that Rutherford isn't a better SF.  Altamirano is very fast and athletic for an SF but isn't very skilled.  He might be more effective playing against backups, which he'll have more of a chance to do coming off the bench.

I've considered that too.  Wasn't sure how much the IQ difference of B- to A- mattered. I currently have 1 SR, Altamirano, and then 3 SO in my starting lineup.  That would make it 4 SO.
