Max Pulldown Question Topic

I've seen C-prestige teams sign teams in the 160 range that apparently dropped.

they drop in numerical order by position. when i first heard it, i was shocked, i could have sworn that was not the case when i started recruiting in d2. but maybe i just was looking at overall not position rankings or something. i have always wondered if i missed it or if it changed. but today they certainly drop in numerical order... 70 miles or less exempted.

They've dropped in numerical order for the 40+ seasons I've been in D2.  The only players not to drop in order are those that are considering other schools.

If you call a #170 guy and he gives you the backup message (assuming he's not local) then all players below #170 at the same position will be open to recruiting.
