-5 against teams that dont shoot 3's Topic

why is it when a team goes -4 or lower they still cant stop the opposing team from shooting above 50 percent when they dont attempt any threes?

I assume that you are talking about your Grove City team in the game against Wooster where you went -4.

When your two starting big men are both Freshman, and they each have a SPD of 2 playing FCP, you aren't going to hold many teams to a low shooting percentage.

Your lineup has changed through the season, but at least that game you started 4 FR and a SO. That is also a problem.

no thats not it, just in the past i havent been able to put a dent in teams shooting percentages even when playing - positioning, i was talking about my game against earlham where i won and i shot 54 percent and i shot minimal threes even tho they played a -4 defense

Jayhawks, I have noticed the same thing.  It use to be that you could go -4 on a team that didn't make many 3 pt. shots and use the anytime adjustment knowing it would go to -5, but today that doesn't work.  Unless you totally load up the LP, that part of the game does not work that well on OFF.  The recent group in HD have put so much emphasis on the PE game that using the LP on OFF, or attempting to DEF against it is totally erratic in the outcome.
