The Big Time Progressive is in its 16th season and will need a new owner for the 1926/1996 season. We are a standard 2 season progressive with no salary cap,no DH and a 5 team draft lottery with a 30 wins in 120 games requirement.Draft picks may be traded up to two seasons in advance. There is no minimum or maximum to the number of keepers you use each season. All our drafting and trading is conducted in our private forum.
The available team is the Atlanta Crackers, playing out of Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. They currently stand at 51-65 and appear in line to be picking in the 7th to 9th range in the upcoming draft. They have all their picks and have none coming in.Here is their roster.
C - Bob O'Farrell,Frank Gibson
1st - Cecil Fielder,Johnny Neun
2nd - Roberto Alomar
3rd - Matt Williams,Dean Palmer,Dave Hollins
SS - Wil Cordero
OF - Jose Canseco,Brian McRae,Dave Harris,Michael Tucker,Ike Boone (Kevin Mitchell will come off IR in '96)
P - Greg Maddux,Joey Hamilton,Brad Radke,Mark Clark,Kevin Tapani,Juan Guzman,Brian Bohanon,Felipe Lira,Juan Bautista,

I compiled a hypothetical keeper list for this team for next season and the pitching will have 1521 IP,3.69 ERA,.250 Avg.,1.23 WHIP.
You would be looking at a total salary of $82.7 million with 4 picks needed.Obviously, this is just my list and yours might look slightly different, but you get the idea. You would also have a surplus of talent at 3rd base with a good piece to trade.Despite some flaws, this team has a lot of strong pieces in place and won't take that long to build it up.
Our league has always had numerous high profile owners, many of which have been with me from the start. These include sheller,mensu1954,bootone,derek2hof,ace1430 and others.
