My coaching reputation is an A-; is that enough to move up?  At a B+, I was basically not eligible for the top DI schools so wondering if crossing the A threshold makes a big difference or if it'll still be the same next season?

D1 looks for "Years of Experience" at a consistant level. It's gonna depend on how many seasons you have.

Wrong. Just so wrong.  I moved from a D2 school to New Mexico to Texas A&M (which IS a BCS school, correct?) in back-to-back-to-back seasons.  Check the resume, it's right there.  But I'm sure someone will come on here and say that was before the changed the hiring logic again, blah, blah, blah..........

To be clear, my resume was A+ but my reputation was B+ and it kept i me from any top jobs.  The question is will A- be enough?

Maybe try for the lower prestige jobs - the Ds.

My current prestige is A+....so not looking to go to a D.  Question.....is an A- reputation too low for a top job.

It wasn't enough to beat out lesser prestige teams nor prevent losing 2 prized recruits that were considering me throughout the cycle before signing.  This will probably be my last season in DI.  I just don't enjoy DI recruiting.  I guess I'm just a DII kind of guy.

I'm a Division 2 guy myself, although I haven't played Division 1, nor do I care to unless of course I could coach Louisville... lol... But really, I love Lane way too much.

Sorry! Didn't realize you were already in D1. I thought you were getting frustrated trying to move up to D1.
