Which rebounder would do better in the game? Topic

does that mean your best rebounder should be at center or excel, or you switch the lesser to pf to make 2 equal rebounders?
Not necessarily, in fact, I think it depends more on speed imo. I would put my 60/40/90 ath/spd/reb at PF and my 80/20/70 ath/spd/reb at Center. I think speed in really valuable at the 4... At the 5 too and obviously 1-3, but my choice between the 4 and 5 would almost always be the 4. I wouldn't even check their REB abilities when making my decision, but that's just me.

There are ways to handle a situation where the actual rebounding of the players on the court determine which side gets the rebound instead of it being predetermined to be a defensive or offensive one and then it being assigned.  I'm not saying they predetermine but it wouldn't be the first sports game to do it.  Anyone who's played Strat-o-matic is familar with the way they do some things just for stat purposes with it having nothing to do with the actual game play.

That makes it sound like the outcome is predetermined and they are just trying to find someone to assign the rebound to for stat purposes.  Actually, not that uncommon in tabletop sports games.  The system determines there will be a rebound or assist or whatever for side A and then it's just a matter of seeing who the most likely player is to get credit.

CS gets very irate at the mere mention that anything in the game is predetermined  and gets downright nasty in ticket responses. lol ;)
