I just applied for a pretty good D1 job and am wondering when I can expect an answer. It's been 1/2 day and haven't heard anything yet. Does anyone know what it means if I've yet to hear anything, and what is the average wait time on a job like this? Thanks in advance!

There is a 24 hour wait after jobs are first posted, then the first set of promotions is announced following the 2am games. So if the hamsters don't break the wheel again, you should find out around 3am EST.

Bdixon I applied for a "keep looking" job early this morning and I was denied within about an hour. After that I applied at another one and its been 12 hours and I havent heard anything yet so hopefully that means good things for the both of us!

it is as weena described, about 24 hours.  if you are definately not qualifed for a job, you will get a rejection at the next cycle.  otherwise you will need to wait until the 24 hour period is up

the quick rejection means that you had no shot - if you have a shot, nothing will happen until it completes application day - and sometimes even longer - I dont know what makes it wait for some, I have imagined that it has to do with the number of qualified applicants
