We have recently completed our draft for the 1988 season, but it appears that one of our new owners has gone missing.....over 10 days without a word from him. And none of the sitemails have been opened.
Consequently, the team is up for grabs.
New York (Shea Stadium)
C Jamie Quirk, Tom Prince (AAA)
1B Don Mattingly, Pat Tabler
2B Jeff Treadway, Rex Hudler
3B Steve Lyons, Luis Aguayo
SS Rafael Belliard
OF Tim Raines, Mike Marshall, Mike Kingery, Tracy Jones, Rick Leach, Doug Dascenzo (AAA)
P Greg Swindell, Teddy Higuera, Mike Flanagan, Dennis Rasmussen, Jeff Ballard, Todd Stottlemyre, Tom Henke, Todd Worrell, Mitch Williams, Craig Lefferts, Larry Andersen, Joe Price
(this team is still short 2 AAA players -- may be filled from the leftovers of the '88 draft)
The Monty Python progressive is a pretty standard league -- no cap or roster restrictions, draft order set as of game 120 standings (min 35 wins by G120 or draft position will drop); we have a AAA draft following the regular draft (and do not permit use of the autogenerated AAA guys). We are heading into our 20th season and look forward to another 20.
Any questions? Please post here or sitemail me. We'll be glad to have you aboard to get this season under way!
