Guard Rotation Advice Topic

If anybody has time to take a look at my guard rotation on Rochester I could use some advice for next season.  My current rotation is:

PG: Ranck, Maupin, (Golden - RSed now, but he'll be 3rd string next year)
SG: Carter, Garren

I'm really not sure what the best way to line this up is.  My two best guards are Garren and Carter; Garren is the best offensive player on my team.  Unfortunately they are my 2 most reliable SGs.  I could start Garren at PG but then I would have to use one of my mediocre-perimeter shooting PGs as a backup SG.  Both of them are useful players at PG but subpar SG options.  I also can't start Garren alongside Ranck because neither of them can play defense and it would leave the outside of my zone woefully pathetic.  I'm afraid to start Maupin because of his lack of stamina.  If it goes down to the wire or into overtime and the coach tries to keep my starters on the floor he's going to get exhausted and be a major liability.  So basically, I want to know if I'm missing something.  Is there a way I can start Garren without hurting my team too badly?  I have a sneaking suspicion I could get him 18+ points/game with 25 minutes.

Personally I would start my best players and not worry so much about the bench.  So I would go with Garren, Maupin, Ranck at PG, and Carter, Ranck at SG.  Plus I think that Ranck is certainly decent as a DIII SG.

If you are stuck on the idea that you need a stud backup SG, then consider a three guard rotation with Maupin the odd man out:  Ranck, Garren, Maupin at PG; Carter, Garren at SG.  If you stick the three main guys at getting tired you should be fine in a zone.
