Minor League FA Question Topic

Quick question about a player that I picked up.

I picked him up off of waivers the other day and he has an OVR of 58 right now.  He's going to be a minor league free agent and his projected OVR is a bit higher.  I am worried that the OVR might move over 60 when the league rolls over, but I don't want to spend a 40 man spot on him until I need to.

My question is this: if he turns into a 60 OVR after rollover, will his free agent demands be in the millions?  Or, will his demands be low because of the 58 that he has now?

Thanks guys!

His demands will be based on his ratings after rollover, not before.

Don't know what the "cut-off" is for determining if he'll ask for a minor league vs. major league contract.

His makeup of 20 should be a concern in the long-run.

Why don't you want to add him to the 40 now?

He's not going to be over 60.   Nonetheless, if he's worth keeping, and I think he is, it's not worth gambling on.

I think 65 overall is the cutoff between minor league free agency and major league free agency.
