What you considered to be "down-to-earth" comments were actually ridiculously self-serving, egotistical and bordering on delusional.

Your complete lack of self-awareness is stunning, and your burning desire to turn the meaningless back-and-forth of an HD forum into something important and significant (i.e. your embarrassing "bad as you wanna make me" routine, etc.) is evidence of nothing except for the fact that you don't have a whole heck of a lot else going on.

This comment in itself is hilarious because you were the one suggesting that you were going to teach me life lessons via the HD boards lol...and who's being ridiculous?

I love how posting on WIS 30 mins a day equates to me having no life by the way...when you're on that argument, you know you've got nothing left.  I am as bad as you want me to be.  You want me to be a saint and then you call me an imbecile, and wonder why I'm not a saint...I mean dude...do you effing get it?  All the rules are for me but you don't have to follow them, if you only remotely understood your own hypocrisy.

Nah. He's a lousy troll.

Great trolls get you riled up about the positions they take (which, in reality, they don't give a **** about - just the reaction they can get by taking it). snake_p was a master at that, back in the day in the GD forums.

When the argument is about you and what a dick you are, that's not successful trolling - it's a trolling fail.

I mean, look at this thread. Have any meaningful discussions been sidetracked? Nope. cornfused made a mistake, WIS fixed it, end of story. No troll with an ounce of self-respect would waste their time with a thread like this. But an insecure, self-absorbed brat like colonels, desperate to prove he's both smarter and better than anyone else on the board, can't help but try and grab the spotlight.

That's not trolling. That's just a tantrum.
I mean everything I say here...I'm no troll.  Strip my argument of the brashness, the harshness, and poster name, and there is at least a legitimate argument there.  You effed up with 2 "misclicks", own your lack of focus, let the player go, and move on.  Again, if the "mistake" can't be fixed, I bet you don't make it twice, or at the very least, are a lot less prone to.

If people don't see how an event like this harms the game (I've said it very clearly at least twice already), then I really have nothing left to say.  You guys just really don't consider any other viewpoint than your own.  The only one that has any real sack here is isack, as ironic as it is.  Too many folks here are merely caught up in the allure of the game...I'm just delivering sound opinions.

Disagreed.

Colonels has been having the same argument about what a dick he is for like 7 years on this site.  That's impressive longevity, and the fact that people are still lining up to take swings means that his approach, while non-traditional, is highly effective.  He's gotten me riled up a few times, hell I wanted to murder him with a random number generator as recently as last year.
The only real arguments I've noticed about what a dick he is have occurred in the last year, tops. I remember him spamming the forums with his crappy ranking attempts, running away and hiding in the CRD and basketball forums (which I never read, so I only vaguely know he had some run-ins with seble there), and then re-emerging here relatively recently.

If he's managed to rile up three or four different boards worth of users with the same shtick then yeah, I've underestimated his skillz.

Again, though, contrast that with snake, who would still be driving GD coaches insane if he hadn't pushed things too far and gotten his *** banned repeatedly.

So I just scheduled a game with an awful, awful sim.  Totally by accident, I clicked the team above the one I wanted to schedule, and then like an idiot, just clicked "OK."

100% my fault, and I have no problem owning it.  Not a big deal, anyway.

But WIS tells me that "once it's been scheduled, there's nothing that can be done."

People can get players back, but I can't get a game unscheduled?  Seems that there's an arbitrary line in there somewhere, and I have no idea where it is.

Losing a player impacts your season infinitely more than one mistakenly scheduled game.  I completely see where they are coming from.

They fixed a schduel issue for me once. I was in alblacks tourney in div III iba when I was at Alfred and I had all but 1 school filled, but didn't notice this. After a couple days the coach never accepted it, and I didn't notice it. I sent out requests to fill my last open slots, and I guess I sent out one in week 6 and it got accepted before the tourney coach accepted. I sent a ticket into CS, and they cleared it out no problems fairly fast for me.

So, I've stumbled acrossed and an issue and hopefully can get some help on this. I was invited into a tourney hosted by Alblack a few weeks ago and I play 2 teams in exhibition and I had 4 teams to play week 6, 7, 8 and 9th for the following season in IBA in a few months. Well, I got the games setup for week 7 8 and 9, but somehow I got the wrong team for week 6. I am suppolse to play Susquehanna and if it saves passed invites it should show that I did have a request to them. If I talk to the coach (kdbelcher) school Medgar Evers and hes ok with it is there anyway to get the schd adjusted to how it should have been with Susquehanna in his slot and he find another school to play? I understand it says you can't do this, but if all the schools in question (alfred/Susquehanna/Medgar Evers) are ok with it then I don't see how this could be an issue. Thanks and hopefully this can get done.

So you need the 6th game cleared out?

i don't think gray areas like this are the place to push customer support. you can't look at this stuff in a vacuum. i totally understand why CS, even the same person, would fix a mistake like furry's (part of a greater tournament, something that promotes user interaction and is great for the game), but not a random scheduling misclick (which we all make, and which generally do not significantly affect anybody else and not too significantly ourselves, either).

You can't have it both ways.  If it affects him infinitely more, then it affects others infinitely more, and there is more reason not to let him get the player back.

And all the more reason to be careful when you click.

And I'll refrain from saying anything... lol.

Herein lies the problem.  They're now deciding which misclicks are important.  Who's to say that game doesn't affect my chances of a better seed, or even making the tourney?  And who's to say that even with this guy back, cornfused doesn't make the tourney?

A misclick is a misclick is a misclick.  Fixing one and not another is, by definition, arbitrary.

Whatever, I don't care that they didn't fix it.  I'm more annoyed that you guys think you can "objectively" judge which situations need fixing, when, in reality, it's all opinion.  Point being, opinion on importance shouldn't be a factor.  Either fix the misclicks or don't, but don't tell me my misclick is less important and therefore shouldn't be fixed (which is counterintuitive on some level anyway).
