you conference better have all 12 teams in the NT for this to be a problem     

Three teams..  No objection, given the body of work, to a sixteen seed;  getting in with a 19 - 8 record and a 68 RPI, I'm happy to be in the NT: Just would rather not be facing someone from my own conference.

This is a mistake, and if you send a ticket and they get it in time, it will be corrected.

Well, I sent a ticket a ways back, but I don't know if it was on time.  I can say I tried.  WOudl have sent it earlier, but work interfered.(Pesky thing, work.  But it does pay the bills)

Yes, that was definitely a glitch.  It sometimes takes 24 hours for WIS to respond so it's probably too late.   I believe their rule is ' no conference rematches before the Sweet 16'.  But I don't believe I've seen it before the Elite Eight unless there are at least 9 teams from your conference playing

In real life, teams from the same conference are not allowed to face each other any earlier than in a regional final, unless the conference has more than 8 teams in the tournament. Furthermore, the first 3 teams taken from any given conference must be placed in different regions. Not sure if HD follows either of those rules, but they should. 

HD does follow those rules, something weird happened here.

Yea, my team won here but barely. I was upset to have played arss's team in the first round. Despite his 68 RPI, they were far more talented than a 16 seed, and as the overall #1 seed we needed a last second shot to beat them. This was a glitch that needs to be addressed.

Yes, we do try to adjust the matchups in this case if we're alerted in time. It's tough because of the short window between scheduling and when the first games play out.

Perhaps the schedule should be adjusted so there is a day between the games being scheduled and the first one being played so that there is time to adjust glitches?
