Question for pitchers park owners. Topic

I have a kid named Fonda with good offensive stats who is a year away.  You may be right about moving one, but they are a fair platoon as each has significantly high vL and vR than the other.  I wonder if the PC matters more with young guys than old as well.  Most of my pitchers going into season 2 will be call ups, only 4 pitchers from last years squad are staying around.

I have a team in Seattle just finishing its first season.  Strong pitchers park.  Heading into year two what suggestion(s) would you offer with regards to setting the table for future seasons?

I am leaning toward pitching and strong defense.  Defense let me down like nobuddies business this year (starting SS had 42 errors) and my # 1 Starter finished 9 and 17 with a 2.54 ERA. (Lead the league in ERA)

Best hitter hit .278 and in this park I am not expecting any better.

This is silly talk.  Both teams are affected equally...  so build an offense as you would anywhere else, get the same type of stuff in your pitchers and just spend less on innings.

High Velocity, groundball pitchers with a great defense behind them are what you need..

Pitcher's ballpark strategy:
1. You can take on more flyball pitchers than other teams. Just align them properly in key series and the playoffs to only pitch at home (or other deep parks)
2. Focus on contact hitters with speed. You don't need the big power guys with poor average and contact. Hitters with 70+ contact, vLh vRH and batting eye. But land a couple good power hitters, of course. You just don't need 8 of them with 40 contact and 90 power. More 70+ across the board.
3. Strong defense at SS, 3B and C, with good pitch calling at C. You can get away with schmucks in LF, 1B and 2B. Maybe even RF if the rest of the defense is stellar.

Get away with a schmuck at 2B?  The position that sees the 2nd most chances after SS??

99% of the stuff in this thread is idiocy.
