Not the ones you pay the most attention too when looking at players...but your favorite ratings when looking at players.

Mine are:
Position Players....speed and batting eye
Catchers.......pitch calling and batting eye
Pitchers.........control and groundball

Obviously I try to pay attention to splits and others (overall, how old they are, etc.), and how all the ratings may go together when looking at individual players, but I really like speed, both defensively and running, and guys that toss groundballs by the bucket load.

Pull tendency, bunting, and temper ... they make all the difference

The green ratings.  If a guy can play solid D, he'll always get a second look from me.

Wait... that sounds kinda..........

As a guy who was really a big fan of Bonds and McGwire, and a fan of the Roids era, my fav rating is POWER.  I find in this game a 3 run HR can make alot of wrongs right.

Also I feel you aren't winning anything without a strong defensive SS.

For pitchers it's control most important for me.

You may be right as smart and cutting edge as you are.  Funny thing is if it went over my head it went over MikeT's head also.  Of course you didn't say anything to him but then again you don't have a raging hard-on for him like you do for me.

Well.... apostrophes are used pretty fast 'n loose on the ol' innerwebs, so we'll let it slide.  :)

And as for the second part... uhh....... I can't say I've ever spent much time looking at the dude's face... so I'll decline comment.
