Finally got around to getting some of this scheduling done. 4 games scheduled and the other 4 requests have been sent out.

Wish the Shootout had started this season. I'm sitting on a nice 19 - 0 record and the #1 Ranking. Let's just hope I don't flame out early in the tournament.

Week 3 games:
UW-Osh Kosh defeats Stockton Ospreys 66-64:
After a great 30 minutes the Stockton Ospreys were up by 12, then they tired out. They gave up a 17 unanswered point to the Osh KoshTitans in the final 7 mintues. In the final two mintues the Ospreys tried to come back, even tying it on the 5th  three pointer by PG star Henry Veal when 24 seconds remaining. Osh Kosh held for the last shot and was fould with 00 on the clock, Josh Schnakenberg made both free throws to win the game. He also earn POG getting 14 second half points and 20 total. Veal ended with 25 for Stockton.

UW-Stout slams door on Hope 86-73:
Hope came into the game one of the top offenses in the country but were shut down by and aggressive Stout zone defense. They only shot 41 % and 73 points after going over 100 in every earlier game. Senior Hope guards Ricky Hull and Ernst Moseley got their first start of the season and only shot 7 of 21 and 6 of 19 behind the arc. Stout's Samuel Cahill ended up with POG  with his great defense, 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in only 21 minutes.

 William Paterson pounds Eastern 88-80:
WPU took a large first half lead relying on James Craven, but Eastern kept driving back in the second half. They just could not take the next step and take the lead. WPU's ability to score with thier posts was a key factor. PF Craven ended with 32 points and 7 boards proofing why he was a preseason all-american.

# 3 Rockford blows out Mary Washington 81-60:
Rockford efficeint slowdown flex offense scored 81 points making 63% of thier shots. They spread the ball around and took high quality shots getting four players in double figures. SimAI Mary Washignton came into the the tourney 2-0 and after one game is wonder how good are they. PG Michael Hightower received POG honors with 14 points and 4 assists.

# 6 US Coast Guard survives against Blackburn 90-83:
In a back and forth battle for two top teams USCGA came up on top. Blackburn can score in every way possible and with everyone on the team, Eight players score more than 8 points a game. While USCGA rely's on points off turnovers from press defense and a sharp shooting backcourt. The game was close until the end when USCGA made it free throws with a small lead to close it out.

Week 4 games:

Hope 77 Wisc-Oshkosh 66
Oshkosh tried to slow down the Hope offense like fellow WIAC memeber UW-Stout did but Ricky Hull kept hitting threes. He ended with 7 total and Player of the Game honors. Oshkosh's John Schnakenberg kept the paint busy on the other end of the court grabbing 5 offensive boards and scoring 18 points.

Richard Stockton 74- Eastern 84
Richard Stockton started slow becuase of key's players getting into foul trouble, but a 25-7 run to start the second half gave them a 10 point lead. Fatigue and then fouls started to cool Stockton off and the fresh Eastern kept attacking to take the lead again and then the win. Eastern Center Anthony Mack earned POG with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

#7 Wisc Stout 81- Mary Washington 63
A close first half had the Stout crowd worried, until backup SG Kevin White hit back to back threes at the end of the half. They never looked back dominating every part of the game after that. C Peter Calhoun gets the POG with 10 boards and 14 points.

William Paterson 78- #6 US Coast Guard 92
The USCGA bears took the lead early with three's by thier backcourt, but James Craven kept WPU in it by dominating in the paint. He ended with 28 points. Both temas shot well from the line in a game with 45 fouls. In the end USCGA's press that cuased 22 turnovers was the key to the win. James Bridges' 22 points 3 rebounds and 4 assists earned him POG.

#5 Rockford 76- Blackburn 71
In a matchup of two of the top 5 teams in the nation in FG%, defense that cuases mistakes will be the key. This game went back and forth, Roackford trying to slow it down and Blackburn tryign to speed it up and it was anyones game with seconds to go. James Pereira's missed a three with 6 seconds that would have tied the game and Rockford's free throw shooting closed it out. Paul Gillespie's 20 point and 5 rebounds to get POG despite being double teamed and fouling out with 5 minutes to go.
