  I would probable lean towards Gale, but my suggestion is since they are both Soph. you might go with which everone has better upside growth potentional.

I have been starting Michael, but Gale playing better IMO.

Gale Bouchard:
low post moves: limited upside
rebounding: limited upside
speed: limited upside
stamina: big upside


Michael Davis:
defensive fundamentals: limited upside
durability: limited upside
low post moves: big upside
perimeter shooting: big upside
rebounding: limited upside
shot blocking: limited upside
speed: limited upside
ft shooting: big upside

Bouchard is definitely better now and they have similar room for growth, so I'd probably go with him.  That being said, I'd be careful about comparing starter vs. backup performance apples to apples because it's likely your starters are playing more minutes against tougher opponents.
