Neither are much offensive threats, but my main issue is pitch calling.  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: William Green and  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Manny Yoon are 2 catchers I am deciding between.  Yoon has better PC than Green, but Green has a much better arm.  Considering the fact that neither are major offensive threats, which would you go for.  Is there much difference in the 9 pts between Yoon's PC skills and Green's?

The above catcher would probably play slightly over half the games.  I have another catcher who is much better offensively, but has low durability.

I'ld pick Green, and it isn't even close.  the PC #'s are close enough to not make much difference, if any....and Green has that 90 power, so he will bonk some homers by accident.  And you get the bonus of his better arm.

I have a good hitting, mediocre defensive catcher....All-Star game in his first two full seasons, will be this year, too.  But I would love to have Green as his back-up and late inning replacement!

Yoon won't stop many runners, and he has shown no ability to hit in the majors.  If this was an occasional backup/defensive replacement issue, Green would be an easy choice.  If you really do need one of these guys to play 81 games for you though, I might look for another option.  But it depends on your team, if you can absorb the no-offense catcher for half your ABs, then use Green.  Some teams can.

If your other C is Kevin Kim, then I agree with twm.  Kim has DUR = 24, which means that you're going to struggle to get 250 PA from him, which means that you're really looking for a starting catcher.  Green is a nice defensive C but not a true stud, and is really a AA-quality hitter.

I have a guy like Kim, with DUR=36; I play him against LHP and that plus a ton of PH appearances is about the right amount of PT, he gets under 100% late in the season.  Kim also crushes LHP.  So it would help if the other C could hit righties some.
