Will a 27 Year-old pitcher who suffers a major injury, recover any of his lost ratings?  I had an awesome pitcher, 3-time cy young who is now out for 261 days.  He lost 8 points on his overall ratings.  Will he regain any of those lost ratings or is this as good as it gets?

It depends on your medical budget and the player's patience rating.  He probably won't recover all the lost points, but with high medical/patience he can certainly recover some.

He was hurt in the world series so would next years medical budget have an effect?
