n00b recruiting question Topic

I am not finding where to make contact with recruits. The only player that I have found to contact is the one that I put on my summary board to monitor. Now I dont see a  way to add another player to that list. When I bring up a player profile I do not see an option to contact him. Any help guys?

Go to recruiting -> search, put in whatever criteria you want, and it will bring up a list of players. when you click the players name, go to the 'recruiting' tab. hope this answers your question.

Yep, I think you just need to switch tabs in the profile from ratings to recruiting. Let me know if it still doesn't work.

There is only 1 tab, 'ratings", showing in the player profile. Also, it lists at the top of the player profile that I have 0 scholarships and $0 budget. This is obviously false.

I think something is messed up. Not a fun way to start off with the game...

recruiting started yesterday for my league.

I somehow got the number 1 player in the recruiting class up on my 'watch' list. The game WILL let me recruit him. But I cannot get any other players on the watch list, and every player I open from the search list has only one tab showing. So if its not recruiting time, then I have a bugged player that I CAN recruit. But no one else in the entire nation... I need to get crackin on the recruiting since I only have 6 players in my whole program!

Yeah. It means that all you can do right now is add the player to your watch list, there should be a timeline that shows you when recruiting will start, after that you will be able to see a recruiting tab and start getting some players on your team. If you have any more questions you can sitemail me or just ask me here...

when I click the players name from search list, it takes me to the player profile. On that screen I have only one tab available in the center of the screen, "Ratings" showing all the physical attributes of the player. The other tabs are gone.

Since I do somehow have a player on my 'watch' list on the Recruiting Summary screen, I can click on the 'Budget Spent' number (which is 0) and it will bring up a player profile with many more tabs for that one player.  That same player from the watch list, when I click on his name to bring up his player profile, it only gives me one tab again.

I hope theres something really easy that I am doing wrong here...

might be a problem with your browser since the tabs arent loading properly? or something like that. try a different browser, or maybe try wisjournal.com instead of whatifsports.com and go from there.
