Can an injured players be traded?

I'm pretty sure players on the DL can't be traded. I can't find anything that address players hurt a few games not put on the DL.

I believe if they receive an injury of less than five days, they can be traded.  Or at least an already pending trade should go through.

Anything longer than that . . . they cannot be traded, or if they are part of an already pending trade it will be voided.

It's not a bad idea to rest your players that are involved in a trade to ensure the trade goes through.  If they get hit with a 15 day injury while the trade is pending, it will be voided and you'll have to wait to put it through again.  If those 15 days take you past the trade deadline, then you have to pass the players to be traded through waivers.

I just made a trade for a prospect that was injured...I think he was out for 4 days when the deal went through.  Had he been out longer, I don't know if it would have gone through.  I know it wouldn't have had he been on the DL, but since it was a short term injury, no problem.
