Another thread about the HOF voting...

Here's some ideas I'd like to see incorporated into the HOF voting:

Raise the maximum vote total from 5 to 10.

Remove players from the ballot after the either a) get less than  15% of the votes in any election b) are on the ballot for 5 seasons

count the percentage that the player gets from the owners who voted not from all teams. If a player gets say 60% of the votes among those who voted then he's in.

have an additional list view with no pictures and one line per candidate. Expand the stat categories that are available to include additional stats

publish the vote totals after the election is over

I've been told the last one is on the way.  (publishing the vote totals)

I think I would want anyone with less than 2 votes removed instantly and then the 5 season rule as well. Having just recently had our voting for the HOF in GAP, the 2 vote criteria would have eliminated most of the folks who don't belong. Anything higher than that could knock out some worthy candidates in a season with a lot of top tier retirees, especially if the 5 votes per person stays intact.

I wouldn't go below 10 votes as a minimum amount.

Come on! Aren't looks part of your voting criteria?

I hope the published vote totals include both the votes for each nominee and the total number of GMs who voted for at least one person.
