Question about signing draftee's and prospects Topic

I know that during the season you can bid on IFA guys and pay them their bonus out of your prospect payroll.  How does it work for the amateur draft players?  Do you pay them out of the same player prospect payroll you alotted for the season?

As an example, say you have a prospect payroll of $20M, and use all $20M on an IFA stud.  Next comes the amateur draft where you have the #1 pick and you select another stud.  If he is demanding for example $5M as a signing bonus....and you have blown your prospect wad....are you screwed and unable to sign this guy?  How do you sign your draftee's if you have 'spent' your prospect payroll?

You can transfer unspent money from your coaching budget or payroll budget.  Transfers are done in $2m increments (at a 50% penalty).

Of course, part of the game is managing your budget and NOT spending all of your $20m on an IFA if it means you won't have any cash left to pay a signing bonus on your #1 pick.
