I think you are right in this regard. I think that pitchers with high splits tend to outperform their FIP. The problem is that they don't show singles, doubles, and triples on a pitcher stat card. I could probably use a reverse runs-created stat using OPS-allowed or something that might fit better. Maybe I'll play around with that at some point. Or even better, somebody could do it for me.
