Maybe this is petty and unimportant in the long run, but how can an international prospect say things like this?

"I’ve always loved coming to your city on road trips. The clubs and women are some of the best in the majors, but you know as well as I do money talks and I’ve got better offers on the table."

If this guy is still playing in Japan, or the Dominican, or Venezula, how the hell would he know this?  The response makes sense for regular free agents, but not for internationals.  You play in your country, you've never been to my city.

They invented these things called airplanes quite some time ago.   People travel to other countries all the time.   Crazy, I know.

I think its obvious the quote was made for MLB free agents (road trips).  But it is purely cosmetic; not a huge deal.

Yeah Mike, and I see the Venezuelan National Team playing at Comerica all the time.

Just because there is a chance it happened doesn't mean an 18 year old kid from South America has done it.


And I understand they are completely cosmetic, but how tough would it be to make them a little more applicable.  HD has broken English messages from International Recruits, why can't HBD have the same thing?

You said "you've never been to my city".  You don't know which fake player has BEEN to your fake city.   Has nothing to do with who PLAYED in your fake city.

the real problem of the international  player saying your city has some of the best clubs and women...is right there...its a freakin sexist comment ...women are not pieces of meat...what if sports should be ashamed of itself
