NEWBIE QUESTION: HANDLING A PITCHING STAFF Topic

In my first season in a very long time.  Got off to a great start(24-11) before hitting a 5 game skid.  I recognize the problem as my bullpen is being overworked as of late.  I brought up an extra arm from AAA to help eat some innings, but my bullpen is still showing quite a bit of wear.  Anyone give me any advice or pointers on this so I can right the ship.  Here or sitemail would be great.  Thanks!

The starters are showing pretty low pitch counts for their ability. I would think that you either have your pitch counts set a little low or else your pull ratings are a little high. Whichever it is, keeping your starters in for an extra inning or two will take some of the stress off of your 'pen.

Use the recs and adjust as necessary(i.e. if your SP are ready two days before his next start, he can throw more pitches).

But let them run through a couple of rotations, esp if you are judging at start of season, they can have some stamina buildup from ST, so may go longer teh first couple of times round.
