Leaving a guy on the DL? Topic

anything detrimental to doing this, I have a guy about ready to come off but the guy I brought up to replace him is hot, would like to ride it out, will the guy on the DL get mad and lose points?  Will he be released or anything I wouldnt expect?

He'll stay on the DL as long as you keep him there.  I don't think he'll lose any points.

If thats the case he might have to hang on the DL for a little bit longer than he was expecting

I had a guy on the 15 day DL a few seasons back. His replacement did so well, I left him on the DL all season. He did not suffer any ratings hits for being on the DL that length of time.

After the season he will most likely feel the effects of not playing. Remember, it's playing time/performance that helps develop players. However, I feel if a player regardless if they are 21 or 31 will decline with no playing time. The older players will be hit much worse.
