I've got a pitcher that I signed as an IFA at the end of last season.  It's midway through the next season, and I'm thinking about putting him in a trade.  However he's not showing up on my trade proposal list?  I think I remember I heard something about not being able to trade 1st year players after they're drafted, but does that extend to IFA, and is it HBD real time?  Or should he be available since I signed him last season and I should submit a ticket?  Thanks!

If he was signed after the regular season ended, he was not credited with service time.   So he's not available to trade.   And, yes, it applies to IFA.

I believe that, because he's in his first service year, he untradeable. (ie. he didn't play a game last season, correct?)
