Fouls playing FCP Topic

Hey guys,

Just wanted to gather some thoughts here, I'm running FCP defense with my York-NY team and the fouls seem ridiculously out of whack to me...I know you're obviously more prone to foul in FCP, but I've went over 30 fouls a couple times and am having starters foul out in 8 and 11 minutes and such and it's just a bit frustrating/mind boggling.

Just curious if people think FCP fouls are overstated or if it's about right given the defense.  I'm not ******, they just seem high.

I guess also while I'm at it...this has been floating around in my mind for a bit...is there anyone out there that thinks setting double teams while running FCP actually works?  I mean if you couldn't do it, shouldn't you not be able to set the settings?  Shouldn't it be grayed out or you get some kind of error message when you try to save double teams while playing FCP?  Just curious about thoughts here too...I guess it's a bit of the conspiracy theorist in me, and/or the lack of trust in seble/WIS.

Looking forward to all responses.

Take care
Trevor

I was going to blame it on your team speed (that's fairly low for a FCP team), but it's your guards that are the main culprits.  The guy with a 12 def is fairly understandable, but the other 2 guys are fine D3 FCP players.

I've found that the swings of the FCP hit the ends of the spectrum more than the other defenses.  So I'd chalk it up to a small sample size for now.  Looked at that 1st game and that team is pretty slow too.  It must be the small sample size at work here.

Your team is a little slow, and the only fast guard has 12 defense. Defense matters for the press. And lastly, your team isn't that deep with your underclassmen having low stamina. Playing tired late in games with slower players in the fcp is gonna be a hot mess. I would start by playing slowdown exclusively.

slowdown would help for sure
