Scouting Eval ever wrong? Topic

Has anyone ever received a scouting evaluation that in the end was not what they were told.

I have a PG which when recruited I pulled down with a number of scouting trips which on two of them reported the HIGH-HIGH evaluation of his passing skill:

- Outstanding court vision and passing ability - with more experience I expect to see TREMENDOUS improvement.

He started out at 37 but I just got his cap mail on his passing skill and it only sits at 65 (an increase of only 28).

Based on what I know, I would of expected an increase of at least 31 for the skill.

Is this worth putting in a ticket for?  Anyone else have a similar issue or is High-High now less than what we think it is?

I always thought of high-high min to be 25.

Getting the message doesn't mean that he can't improve a few more points.

hrm...billy g has stated that the HH minimum is 28, I've been resisting this...looks like he's right (go figure...)

ETA: there may be another point to be squeezed out after the cap email, but that'd still only be 29...

28/29 is the bottom on the high-high guys.

It seems a bit odd but I have seen players with a 71 rating get evalued at high-high yet you never see the rating of 80 get a basic high potential rating and often that 80 rating does get the big upside in the season opening email from the assistant.

Guess the high-high of 30ish+ isn't exact so its good to know that 28/29 is the bottom end.

I've been going on:

Low-Low ( 0 - 3)
Low-High (4 - 6)
Average (7-19)
High-Low (20-30)
High-High (31+)

Does anyone have more accurate numbers?

exactly. i am 99% certain there is a bug in the game that causes what you described, even though CS denies it. i think the bug is in the display in the recruiting search, not in the coach email. high categories cap at 20 for all kinds of guys, so having 80 rated guys never high makes no sense (esp when they come in high later, with more than 7 minutes of practice). but then you see the 72 high highs and 94 mediums and everything else. just no 80 highs.

that post is info i posted pretty early in potential, when i only had enough data for rough numbers, i even had some overlap in the categories i think. i am pretty sure now its 0-1, 2-5, 6-19, 20-27, 28+  by the time you get the capped email (after which you may or may not get another point of improvement but its going to come very slowly if ever)
