I don't believe anyone who responded said "The current system is flawless".   I'll only speak for myself but complicating a system that works fine as is won't improve the game.   Coach hiring and free agency are two aspects of the game which aren't "fun".   Making either of them more complicated isn't helping.

I think free agency is kind of fun.

But you hate coach hiring?   It's the same process(as is IFA).   All of them suck.   You sit around with a little 1 in your bubble and wait.   If you lose your bubble 1, you bid again or move on.   If you find that fun, I recommend a trip to a strip bar.   You'll change your definition of "fun".

Strip bars are fun, as I remember.

They're a lot more fun than HBD free agency.   I know that.

Id rather hire coaches than go to a strip club. Unless you're buying. I'm not opposed to looking at boobies but I really don't like having to pay money to do so.

The boy has a point.

If boobies sit on your lap for free while you are doing coach hiring, and she says "ooooo, I just love your 90 rated pitching coach", it seems you have a win/win scenario.

You pay $25 for the privilege of hiring your coaches, among all the other thrills HBD offers. That's about the cost of a lapdance at a lot of places, although I suppose you also have to pay a $10 or $15 cover and buy at least one $7 can of beer.

HBD offers three months of fun, with some aggravation thrown in, but a good lapdance offers a lifetime of p memories (with some aggravation thrown in when your wife asks the next morning why you've got glitter on your forehead).

I combat that problem by sprinkling a little glitter on my head every day so it's just common for her to see.   Yeah, my buddies gave me grief at first but, after I explained the logic, we now buy glitter in bulk.   We save enough money to buy an extra beer every month.
