To all who are trying to fill leagues, I'd like to issue a warning. We have an owner who has been in our league for 4 seasons. After 3 losing seasons, this year he has decided to totally neglect his team. 17 players on his ML roster. MiL teams all seriously understaffed. He logs in every few days, but refuses to answer any requests for information as to what is going on and will not do anything to fix the problem. He seems to be getting his jollies by holding the league hostage to his BS. Of course we have brought the situation to the attention of staff and got the stock responses about fairplay guidelines and nothing they can do and blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile this guy is doing all he can to make the league a less competitive environment. So before anyone else allows this deadbeat into their league, I'm outing him. His name is CSPRING.

I'd be more concerned with pieo.   23 100+ loss seasons.  4 120+ loss seasons.   From what I can see, he's losing to win.

We are well aware of that. We have anti-tanking rules in place. Fall below the parameters and you're gone. If he keeps playing at the rate he is now, he's not gonna make it.

A 'beware of this deadbeat tanker' thread.  Love it!

Here's another two who could qualify.  rsf507 and ericwoody.  While the jury is still out, as transactions in the other leagues they are in together can't be accessed by all, in season 1 of stienbrenner, rsf basically gave ericwoody 15 milion in funds, plus his best players then dumped the league.  Woody had a payroll for season 1 that was 30 million more than anyone else, and used that to: A sign the best FA in the season 1, B has 4 of the best pitchers in the league (only 2 were 'his') and every now and then the league gets to read a post like 'Hey I have 4 20 game winners! I'm the phillies' (not an exact quote but close).  Best thing to do for deadbeats is to have diligent owners who watch trades like hawks.
