The Gulf South conference in Crum currently has 4 human coaches (we had 5 last season, but one decided not to return) is an up and coming DII conference in search of more human coaches to add to and stregnthen our league.  We had 2 NT teams and 2 PI teams last season and would love to keep adding additional coaches.  There are a number of good teams available, including the team that won the conference tournament last season (Arkansas Tech, which was coached by a human coach who decided to "retire").  Arkansas Tech has B prestige and 6 open schollies (http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8191).  Harding (was Sim coached) is coming off a 17-11 season with 6 open schollies (http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8194).  Southern Arkansas (http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8198) 16-11 and will have 2 open schollies (5 more after next season).  There are also good rebuild opportunities for anyone looking for a challenge.

I joined the conference last season and it was an enjoyable conerence with good competition and active coaches.

Unless you applied under another name it looks like another coach got the job.  There are still some good jobs open if you want to try to grab another one of them.

So far 3 new coaches have joined the Gulf South and we are up to 7 human coaches for the upcomming season.  There are still openings if anyone is looking for a DII conference with a good number of human coaches!
