Any premature evaluations of effects of changes? Topic

Hard to say much based on one game, but have any of the more quantitative among us done an analysis of effects on REB, Assists, etc etc from the changes?

Was about to respond ... then realized that you said "premature evaluation".

Never mind.

The changes sucked in Naismith and were great in Wooden.

they were awesome in d3 Naismith. Let's hope they continue to carry me 7 more games!

I confess, I did phrase it that way on purpose - thanks for noticing!

I did not see anything that one can say was distinctly different.  Looking at a few games, I had a sense that there were more assists, but someone who can dump all the games into an xls could say better

I scored way less points than normal.

Everything looked about the same.

So either the changes haven't taken affect or Seble has gotten the hang of making "subtle" changes.

3 of the 4 games I played in were blowouts, since the leveling fix seble made a few months ago, I had not seen that many on a typical night, very likely coincidence, I had one game where my starting center at 22 minutes and his backup at 16 minutes had 11 and 10 rebounds respectively, don't know if I even saw that either, esp given the starting PF was a 99 rebounder, and I thought assists may have been up, seemingly about right.  Two of the blowouts I saw the winning team ran FCP - da - da - da - da - da - da  - duuuuuhuuuhhhh

I run an up tempo offense and usually see the fatigue rating of my opponents look like a rainbow.   It didn't after the last game.  Almost no one was tired in the 2nd half.

Pretty much the same after my one game last night. My starting PG got 4 assists, instead of 2 or 3, but thats nothing to write home about ;)

assists seem to be up

I had a guy that has scored double digits in every game this season and who averages about 20 ppg as my 6th man/Vinnie Johnson all season go 3-10 and score 6 points, but I guess I could be small sample size. I wasn't gonna mention it, but you asked for premature evaluations, and this certainly is one. Also, this happens to everyone from time to time, so it is nothing to be embarrassed about...

i had a player (with my other ID) get 11 assists last night, so I'd say that's a lot though it is just one game.

Assists and steals seem to be up (but TOs seem to be about the same, thus proving Seble's point that TO's would remain the same, but the number of TO's which were steals would increase).

I didn't notice much else, though rebounds among certain players with higher rebound ratings did seem to increase slightly.  I can't say much else.  These changes definitely didn't blow anything out of proportion, at least not too visibly after just one (or two if you're in a two-a-day world) game(s) with the changes.

One of the fixes was supposed to be a decrease in fouls/TOs in end of game situations, yet somehow I had it happen to me twice last night in the same game.
