Most Highest Rated Player of All Time? Topic

Just curious...(and I know OVR isnt everything), but what is the highest OVR player you have ever seen?  I have just a couple of seasons under my belt but the highest I have seen is a 97OVR RF.  Highest pitcher I have seen so far is a 94 with splits of vL 100 vR 99.

Also, is there any kind of pattern to whether or not crazy high rated players come from HS....College....or IFA?  Is it truly random?

i've had a 100 ovr player. shortstop, good power hitter, pc ratings high enough so he could catch in a pinch.
and it's random, i believe
