playing a 40-game player for full season Topic

What happens if you play someone like Gene Teneace '70 (40 gms, 138 ABS) over say 100 games?  What kind of fatigue do these guys generally possess?  Have any of you played a scrub or part-timer for a full season just to see the results?

He'll be at zero (or close to it) very quickly.   His defense will suck (although at C I don't know if it effects PB or CS) and he will stop getting hits (although I don't think walks are effected).

And by the way, Doug Sisk was my least favorite Met in the 1980's.  Well maybe 2nd after Calvin(sp?) Chapman.

So if a guy played 38 games, he really can't play more than that?

Also, what do you have against pitchers that balk in winning runs?

There's actually a thread on fatigue on the front page but the long and the short of it is you the sim uses PA for fatigue, not games.    You'll be able to get 152 PA out of Tenace (110%) for the season without facing a fatigue penalty.

And it wasn't that Sisk balked in a run, it was EVERYONE else in the bullpen was pretty good, he just wasn't.  I remember being a little kid  and just begging Davey to go with McDowell, Orosco, Aguilera, Leach, ANYONE other than Sisk.

And there will be a column where I can see the fatigue?  Thanks for the responses
