Games ending with free throws Topic

This has happened to me 3 times in the last 2 years - Games ending with a foul  called within the last 5 seconds of the game & the game is won or lost @ Free throw line.

Is this happening to others often?

Next to never does this happen in real life - Refs usually swallow the whistle within the last 10 seconds

I agree that it seems to happen much more here than in real life. I don't see it as a problem though.

See Rutgers vs Nova the other night...sucks when it happens but 3 times in 2 years isn't an astronomical number

It should actually never happen, it's impossible for a foul to happen with 0 time left, for the final second in the PbP there really needs to be tenths of a second.

I had it happen twice in the same game a couple of days ago.  Right after the new release came out and said it would happen less.

I believe this to be false. If a player hits a shot with no time remaining on the clock and is fouled on the shot, there would be no time on the clock and he still gets to shoot the FT's. Same as end of half when you see a guy fouled heaving a half court shot and time expires, he still gets to shoot the free throws with no time on the clock. You can foul after time has expired.
