So i was doing some thinking ahead about D1 with my friend. We had talked about joining a conference with no one else in it and just make it really good over a few seasons. But, he said that he read that you can't change conference ratings in D1? Is this true? So if anyone knows if this is possible or impossible, just let me know. Thanks

No. I said it can change just not a lot. Like the big east can't be lower than the Mac

I think it can be done, but it takes more than two people, you'd really need the conference to be full, and for people to stick with it, and get to the point where you'd be sending at least 4-5 teams to the NT every year, with a couple of them making good runs.  I know Mountain West Tark did it, surpassed some of the Big 6 conferences, but that was before the recruiting changes.  I think it could probably be done again, but the hard part is finding 12 coaches to do it.

Yea I got a few coaches willing to help out, not sure if we would ever get it done, but we might give it a shot.
