I like guards and SF who can rebound a bit - I use FB/FCP together, and those are the worst formations for protecting rebounds, so I want 5 guys on the floor who can rebound at least a little. Likewise, I like a little BH/P with my bigs to cut down TOs, which FB teams tend to suffer from.
I think having good rebounding at SF is important but I don't even look at REB for my guards.
I have found that my team tends to have almost all PG, SF and PF.
I do like to have good passing and BH so my PG and SG are almost always listed as PG. I just take the two highest ones in PER and ATH and make them play the 2 guard,
Because of the speed ratings, my front court is mostly SF who can rebound at PF and the fastest possible PF at C.
Seriously, it can work. Take a look at my Princeton team, it isn't very good and I made the 2nd round of the NT. I am probably going to get smoked tonight but I doubt there are many teams left that have 660 rating.
If you have high SPD, ATH, and enough STA the rest will take care of itself.
