Will informing the player of a redshirt override the promise, or is this guy playing this year if I want to avoid breaking my promise?  What are the odds he quits if I promised him 15 minutes then redshirt him?

If you inform of redshirt, then inform of non-redshirt, it will wipe everything out and take you back to where you started originally.

I've never been able to redshirt a player after using the 'inform of non-redshirt' button for any reason. maybe I was unlucky

I think they closed that loophole in one of the earlier releases because coaches were using it to beat the system. Let us know how you make out.
