If a player quits do you get the money? Topic

I just had a player send me an email quitting my Vanderbilt team even though i promised him nothing at any point in his career.  just wasn't room for him in the rotation.  had him complain throughout the season and just didn't up his PT.  He followed through.  Won't get an answer to the money question though since i was already due to have 6 open schollies, hence the playing time problem on a senior laden team.

So I can state affirmatively that players do quit without having been promised playing time.  Fact.

You definitely get the scholly money if a player leaves.  Just went through this on my team.

Awesome thanks.  Hopefully he quits and then along with conference money I can cut the other awful sim player and get rid of 2 guys at once.

if you take over a new team and cut players before recruiting starts, players that you didn't recruit, do you get recruiting money?

Player quits = you get recruiting money.

Chances of a player quitting = very, very slim.

I tried to force a PG I recruited to quit my Texas, San Antonio team last season, but that was to no avail, so now he's more or less just riding the bench as the only senior on a decent D-I minor conference team.
